مستند اربعین

مستند اربعین (۱۳۴۹) توسط ناصر تقوایی با محوریت نمایش عزاداری اربعین در شهر بوشهر تولید شد. تقوایی طی دقایقی دسته موسیقی عزاداری را با حرکات نرم و تعقیبی دوربین دنبال می‌کند و از کل به‌جز می‌رسد، سپس با مجموعه‌ای از شگردها و تکنیک‌های فنی به معرفی مکان مراسم و جزئیات پرچم‌ها می‌پردازد. تقوایی در مستند اربعین از گفتار متن چشم پوشیده اما تدوین از راهی که میزانسن برایش بازکرده، بیننده را به چیزی فراتر از سلطه گفتار رسانده است. در نمایی بر روی نوشته (وای حسین کشته شد) روی پرده عزاداری بی‌آنکه توصیفی در کار باشد به ما می‌گوید که باید در انتظار چه باشیم و نماهای بسیار کوتاه از برپا کردن مراسم می‌تواند مقدمه‌ای برای شروع داستان باشد.

The Arbaeen documentary (1349) was produced by Nasser Taqwai, focusing on the Arbaeen mourning show in Bushehr city. For several minutes, Taqvai follows the mournful music group with soft and stalking movements of the camera and reaches from the whole to the individual, then introduces the location of the ceremony and the details of the flags with a series of tricks and technical techniques. In the Arbaeen documentary, Taqwai is blinded by the speech of the text, but the editing, through the way that the mise-en-scène opened for him, has brought the viewer to something beyond the dominion of speech. In a scene with the inscription (Woe to Hossein was killed) on a mourning curtain, without any description, it tells us what to expect, and very short shots of the ceremony can be a prelude to the beginning of the story.
