مستند تپه‌های مارلیک
مستند تپه‌های مارلیک (۱۳۴۲) ساخته ابراهیم گلستان با روایتی در باب جستجو در تپه‌های تاریخی مارلیک، از توابع رودبار در استان گیلان است. این مستند شاعرانه درباره کشفیات باستان‌شناسی در یک منطقه است اما درواقع فیلمی درباره تداوم زندگی هنر و آرزو برای فردایی بهتر است. فیلم با نمایی از جریان آب دررود خروشان سفیدرود آغاز می‌شود و دست کاوشگری را می‌بینیم که تکه‌های ظرف شکسته‌ای از عهد عتیق را به هم می‌چسباند ظرفی که نشانه‌ای از تمدن باستانی و ویران‌شده است؛ اما گلستان در کنار همین رود و همین تمدن ویران‌شده مردمانی را نشان می‌دهد که سرگرم کشت و کار وزندگی‌اند تمدن‌ها از بین می‌روند اما زندگی‌های انسانی ادامه دارد. تشابه رویش و پرورش طبیعت با تولد و پرورش انسان و همانندسازی‌هایی که در نثر گلستان در این مستند به‌عنوان نریشن گفته می‌شود حال و هوای این اثر را از یک اثر صرفاً ناتورالیستی و توریستی به یک مستند هستی نگارانه و عمیق بدل کرده که زمان و مکان ندارد و می‌تواند در همه زمان‌ها و همه مکان‌ها به نمایش درآید.
The documentary Marlik Hills (1342) by Ebrahim Golestan with a narrative about the search in the historical hills of Marlik is a district of Rudbar in Gilan province. This poetic documentary is about archeological discoveries in a region, but it is actually a film about the continuity of life of art and the desire for a better tomorrow. The film begins with a view of the water flowing in the roaring Sefidroud river, and we see the hand of an explorer gluing together the pieces of a broken vessel from the Old Testament, a vessel that is a sign of an ancient and destroyed civilization; But Golestan, next to the same river and the same destroyed civilization, shows people who are engaged in farming and living. Civilizations are destroyed, but human lives continue. The similarity of the growth and development of nature with the birth and development of humans and the identifications that are called narration in Golestan’s prose in this documentary have changed the mood of this work from a purely naturalistic and touristic work to an ontological and deep documentary that has no time and place. And it can be displayed at all times and all places.
